SWEUNB is officially supported by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency
The MSB is a new authority responsible for all work related to public safety, emergency management, and civil defence. The MSB replaces the Swedish Rescue Services Agency, the Swedish Emergency Management Agency, and the Swedish National Board of Psychological Defence all of which ceased operations and closed down on 31st December 2008.
We work for strong civil protection and good emergency preparedness in which everyone shares responsibility. Our work is carried out in close cooperation with other societal stakeholders and encompasses the entire scale of threats and risks - from everyday traffic accidents up to major disasters.
